Lake Odessa Wave - November 30, 1950
           FORMER RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY
   Ezra Dell, 67, owner and operator of the Capitol Coal Co. in Lansing for the last
twenty five years; died 
unexpectedly in Mason Monday evening when he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.  He was
taken to the 
Mason hospital where he passed away about midnight.
   Mr. Dell, former resident of Woodland and Sunfield was in the elevator business
before going to Lansing.
   He was a member of Knight of Pythias of Mason and of the Methodist church at
Lansing.
   Surviving are his wife the former Bessie Weaver, a daughter Joyce at home, a
brother John at Woodland, 
five sisters Mrs. Emma Fisher, Saginaw, Mrs. Ernest Krebs of Sunfield, Mrs. Hannah
Waite and Mrs. Walter 
Tasker of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Louis Wildt of Bellevue.
   Funeral services were held Friday morning at 10 at the Colonial chapel of the
Estes-Leadley funeral home in 
Lansing with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Rev. D. Stanley Coors of the
Methodist church 
officiated.
