The Ionia Standard, Tuesday, August 7, 1900

Mrs. James DeLong of Portland was found dead in bed at Pewamo this morning, 
death having resulted from an attack of heart failure.  She has been visiting 
Mrs. Isaac Shoemaker the past few days, and retired last evening apparently in 
good health and spirits.
