Mrs. Delp had been ill two weeks, suffering from Brights disease. Mr. and Mrs. Delp and family moved to Ionia from Manistee five years ago. Mr. Delp is manager of the Fidelity grocery. Mrs. Delp had worked in the grocery with her husband and made a large circle of friends in the city. She was 48 years of age. Before her marriage she was Miss Gussie Howard and was born in Iowa. Besides her husband, Clayton Delp, she is survived by three children, Leonard Delp, who attends the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Miss Venita Delp, who has been attending the Western State Normal at Kalamazoo, and LaRue Delp at home. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Susan Howard, of Como, Illinois. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Charles Dodd and Mrs. Charles Brown of Morrison, Illinois, and Mrs. John Schwarks, of Como, Illinois, and three brothers, John Howard, Elmer Howard, and Burr Howard, all of Como, Illinois. The funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock and from the Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30. Rev. W. F. Kendrick will have charge of the service. The body will be placed in the mausoleum at Highland Park until spring.
