Oliver Merle Demaray, 50, died at St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, early Sunday morning from injuries received in an auto accident late Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred on US 16 near the Wacousto road west of Lansing. Mrs. Demaray, the driver, lost control of the car which left the pavement and hit a tree. The car was completely wrecked but Mrs. Demaray escaped with bruises and lacerations. Mr. Demaray was born February 6, 1897, and had resided in this vicinity most of his life, with the exception of the last four years spent in Lansing. Surviving are the wife, Bertha in Lansing, one daughter Mrs. Kenneth Johnson, his father, John Demaray, 86, and a sister Mrs. Clyde Adams, all in Lake Odessa. Funeral services were held in Lansing, Tuesday and at 2 at the Pickens Funeral chapel here Wednesday with burial in Lakeside cemetery, the Rev. Ronald A.
