Lake Odessa Wave - August 5, 1948
          WOODLAND MOTHER DIED SUDDENLY
   Mrs. Lois Demaray, 39, passed away unexpectedly at her home southeast of Woodland
Thursday of last 
week.  Doctors said death was caused y a cerebral hemorrhage.  Excepting the last 10
years Mrs. Demaray 
had been a resident of the Odessa-Sebewa communities all her life.
   Surviving are her husband, L. D., seven children, Gordon, Joyce, Cecil, Jerry,
Daniel, David, and Nancy, all at 
home; her mother Mrs. Rosa Courtnay of Lake Odessa; three sisters, Mrs. Verna
Robinson of Ann Arbor, Mrs. 
Anna Hobbs of Los Angeles, Cal. and Mrs. Charlotte Ulrey of Portland; two brothers,
Ivan and Stanley 
Courtnay of Lake Odessa.
   Funeral services were held at the Wing funeral home in Woodland with the Rev.
Earl Sease officiating.  Burial 
was at Lakeside.
