DeMartini of 437 Rice street died Sunday, August 29, at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 30, 1897, in Grand Rapids, the son of Joseph and Louise DeMartini. He was associated with Mrs. M. Agostini’s restaurant in Ionia for the past 43 years. He was a World War I veteran and a member of SS. Peter and Paul church, the American Legion and the Elks and the Ionia County Hunting and Fishing club. Surviving are his wife, Lillian; one son, Robert; one daughter, Desiree, at home; one brother, James of Grand Rapids; five sisters, Mrs. Caroline Luchetti of South Gate, Calif; Mrs. Marjorie Driscoll, Mrs. Leona McGillicudhy, Mrs. Beatrice Behren and Miss Maxine DeMartini of Grand Rapids; three aunts, Mrs. M. Agostini of Ionia, Mrs. Alva Clark and Mrs. Minnie DeMartini of Grand Rapids. Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock at Boynton funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock at SS. Peter and Paul church and interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. ------------ Funeral services for Frank A. DeMartini, who died Sunday, were held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church following prayer service at the Boynton funeral home at 8:30 a.m. The Rev. Fr. John S. Fons sang Requiem High Mass. Pallbearers were Ford Halsted, Roman Slowinski, Tom Cusack, Bert Hackett, Edward Popp, and Donald Fuller. Burial was in the family lot in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Attending from out of town were Mrs. Minnie DeMartini, Maxine DeMartini, Mr. and Mrs. James DeMartini, Mrs. Vernon Driscoll, Marjorie Driscoll, Mr. and Mrs. William McGillicudhy, Pat and Mike, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry McGillicudhy, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Behrenson, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Behrenson, Mr. and Mrs. James Whalen, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Clark, Mrs. Rose Minardo, Mrs. Vickie Calries, Mrs. Irma Ostopowicz, and Mrs. Anna Lake, all of Grand Rapids; Faust Agostini, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Pline Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Guidi of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Mozzolini of St. Johns; and Miss Marian Jordan of Highland Park.
