Demorest of Belding occurred at his home in that city Wednesday. He was one of Belding’s most prominent and progressive citizens, and was the son of the late Clark Demorest, who settled in Otisco over sixty years ago. He was the inventor of a concrete mixing machine which is sold in many states, and had extensive interests in Belding and at Enid, Oklahoma. Mr. Demorest was member of the Washington club, and active in the Baptist church. He is survived by the wife and one son.
