He was born May 12, 1966 in Ionia to Robert Lee Sr. and Ann Dunn Denker. Rob was a member of the Carbon Baptist Church where he served as a part time pastor for 3 years before becoming the full time youth pastor in 2004. He had worked for the Clay Community School Corporation as a teacher from 1997 until 2003 and had served as the Northview High School soccer coach. He was a 1984 graduate of Terre Haute North High School, a 1989 graduate of Indiana State University with a BA Degree in Spanish Education in Secondary Education and was currently working on his masters. He also was a member of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity at ISU, attended the El Shaddai Community Emmaus Walk No. 12 and was a member of Youth for Christ and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rob is what we all strive to be, a good father, a good husband, friend, and servant to God. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Denker, Sr. On August 3, 1991 he married Lisa Justus Denker, she survives. Other survivors include 3 children, Benjamin, Hannah, and Noah Denker all at home; his mother Ann Dunn Denker of Terre Haute; a brother, Dan Denker of Terre Haute; father-in-law, Larry Justus of Indianapolis, mother-in-law, Izetta Justus of Fortville, sister-in-law, Brenda Wagner of Illinois, 2 brothers-in-law, USMC Warrant Officer Scott (Michelle) Justus of North Carolina and Dan (Dawn) Justus of McCordsville, several nieces, nephews, a large extended family, church family and many friends. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 31, in the Carbon Baptist Church, 14100 N. Murphy Road, Carbon, IN. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church from Noon until 8 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2005 and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert L.
