Imogene J. Dennie, 78, of Lyons, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994, at Ionia Manor. 
She was born on May 27, 1916, the daughter of Eugene and Sarah (Altenburg)
Cottrell.  She attended Palo and Ionia Public Schools.  She married Joseph
Dennie Sr. in 1935.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Dennie Jr. of Lyons; one daughter, Janice
Hamilton of Lyons; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her husband Joseph Dennie Sr. in May 1970.

Visitation will be held at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir on Wednesday between 2
and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at
Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir with Rev. Lawrence Hodge of the First United
Methodist Church of Ionia officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
