Portland – Harold C. Dennie, 85, died July 9, in Lansing.  He was born in 
Lowell, July 5, 1906, the son of Clyde and Dell Landon Dennie.  

He is survived by his son Harold G. of Lake Odessa, nine grandchildren, 13 
great-grandchildren, and his sister, Evelyn Whitmore of San Jose, California.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Neller Funeral Home, 
Portland, with the Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner officiating.  The family will be at 
the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in 
Portland Cemetery.  Casket bearers will be Doug Needham, Dean Dennie, Dale 
Dennie, Don Dennie, Floyd Luna, and Richard Smith.
