Ionia Daily Standard - Tuesday, April 17, 1917

The funeral for Mrs. Olive Denning was conducted at the home of her mother, 
Mrs. Sidney Thurston of South Ionia, by Rev. E.E. Branch Monday afternoon, Mrs. 
R.A. Colwell and Mrs. John Hodgkins furnishing the music. The body arrived from 
Battle Creek Saturday night. Burial was in Highland Park. The bearers were 
Louis Tafel, Bert Haight, Sam Loveland, George Green, Chris Gott and Ed. Pease. 
The attendance was very large. Mrs. Denning is survived by her husband, R.F. 
Denning, and mother.
