Ionia Daily Standard, 4 Mar 1902

The remains of William Demming, son of Edward Demming, of Ionia township, were
received in Ionia this morning, from Chicago, for interment.  Deceased left
Ionia some three years ago, which time he spent at work in the great western
metropolis.  He was taken ill with pneumonia only a week ago, and although but
30 years and five months old, and a person of magnificent physique and apparent
great vigor and strength, he died on Sunday, in the Alexian Brothers’ Hospital.
 The young wife accompanied the remains.  Funeral on Wednesday at 9 a.m., at
Church of SS. Peter & Paul.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.]
