Portland Review, 19 Jun 1995

William E. Dennings, 72, of Portland died June 14, 1995.

He was born September 5, 1922, the son of Oliver and Ethel (Carningham) 
Dennings.

Mr. Dennings was a veteran of WW II, serving with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Karen; sons, John, Ronald, and 
William Dennings Jr., all of Portland; several grandchildren and great-
grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Services were held June 16 at the Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland, 
with Rev. Robert Besemer of Mulliken United Methodist Church officiating.  
Interment followed at Danby Cemetery.
