Dorothy Dennings, 75, of Portland passed away Nov. 9.  She was born Aug. 11,
1931, the daughter of Fred and Ethel Hill.  Dorothy was a member of the First
Congregational Church in Portland.  She enjoyed baking, going for walks, and
holidays.  Her biggest joy in life was her family and friends, especially her
grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1995.  Surviving are her
son, John (Becky) Dennings of Sunfield, grandchildren, Kelsey and William
Dennings; special cousin, Dora (Clare) Weber of Westphalia; and many special
friends.

Services were held Nov. 13 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland, with
Pastor Marilyn V. Danielson of the First Congregational Church presiding. 
Interment followed at Danby Township Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the
Dennings family.
