Ionia Sentinel Standard, 18 Sep 1959

Mrs. Myrtle Connor Dennis, 77, died Thursday night, September 17 at 10 o’clock
at the home of her son, Norwood Dennis of route one, Orleans.  She was born
November 5, 1881 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Connor of Muir and was
married to William Dennis of Muir July 3, 1902 who passed away several years ago.

Mrs. Dennis had lived all of her life in the Muir area until she sold her farm a
year or so ago.  She is survived by three sons, Leonard of Lansing, Thane of
Muir, and Norwood of Orleans; four sisters, Mrs. Nettie McGlinchy, Mrs. Carrie
West, both of Muir, Mrs. Fern Sayers of Florida and Crystal, Mrs. Alice McLaren,
Florida; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  One sister, Mrs. Mary Evans
and one brother, Harry Conner have passed away.

Arrangements are being made by Estep funeral home, Muir.  Funeral services will
be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Muir Presbyterian church with the Rev. Raymond
Bittner officiating.  Burial will be in North Plains cemetery.
