Robert Dean Dennis, age 77, of Muir passed away February 22, 2014 in Muir.  He 
was born December 17, 1936 in Ionia the son of Thane and Mildred (Ross) 
Dennis.  Robert married Joan Bennett February 9, 1957.  She passed away in 
1994. 

Robert is survived by his children, Rusty Dennis of Muir, Kirk (Paula) Dennis 
of Orleans, Darlene (Dennis) Taylor of Lyons and Jeff (Margie) Dennis of Ionia; 
brothers, Dale (Beth) Dennis of Carson City and Gordon (Cheryl) Dennis of Grand 
Rapids; sisters, Pauline (Frank) Smith of Grand Rapids, Jean (Dave) Rogers of 
Ionia and Diane (Ken) Stout of Muir; sister-in-law, Karen Dennis of Lyons, 10 
grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, 
brother, Bill Dennis and grandson, William Taylor. 

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, at Lake Funeral 
Home in Muir with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.  Visitation will be on 
Wednesday 11 a.m. until the time of services.  Memorial contributions in 
Robert’s name may be made to his family.
