Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Mar 1969

A rural Portland resident, Frederick Huntley Denny, 51, died Saturday at his
home at 559 Lyons road.  He was born December 3, 1917.  A construction foreman
for Archer Construction company of Jackson he was also a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred, one son Frederick, Jr., and a daughter, Sharon
K. both at home; father, Everett Denny of Charlotte; two brothers John of
Charlotte and Harry of Elsworth.

Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland with
Rev. Fr. Melvin Fox officiating.  Burial was at Portland cemetery.  Bearers were
Leo Spitzley, Glenn Archer, William Trierweiler, Clare Cross, Donald Nelson and
Joe Crosby.
