Denny, 76, of Converse, Ind. went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 10, 2005. He was born June 2, 1928 in Saranac to the late Archie and Zella Irene (Bigley) Denny and has been a resident of the area since 1957. He married Imogene Denny and she preceded him in death on April 8, 1995. He then married O. Joann Smith Summers Boyer on November 11, 1995 and she survives. He retired from General Motors, Marion, Ind. He won several awards for suggestions he made at General Motors. He was a great lover of sports and excelled in high school sports. He loved going to his grandsons' and step- grandsons' sports activities. He was a member of Grace Community Church, General Motors Sympathy Club and the UAW 977. He is survived by his wife, O. Joann Denny of Converse, Ind., daughter, Gail (Tom) Fisher of Mulberry, fla., step-son, Kenneth (Julie) Summers of Ind.; brother, Bert (Barbara) Denny of Belmont, Mich.; grandsons, Chris Fisher, Rusty Fisher and Jay Fisher of Mulberry, Fla.; step-grandson, Nicholas Summers of Williamsport, Ohio; granddaughters, Lasondra Fisher and Angie Fisher of Mulberry, Fla.; step-granddaughters, Erica Gunn, of Greensburg, Ind., Jenna Kelley of Shelbyville, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Denny was preceded in death by infant daughter Ruth Denny. Visitation and funeral service were held on Monday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341North Baldwin Ave, Marion, Ind. with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. He was interred at the Grant Memorial Park.
