Portland Review
LaVerne Densmore, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Densmore, 633 east Grand 
River Ave., passed away Sunday at University hospital, Ann Arbor.  He had been 
ill with leukemia but a short time.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. Patrick’s Church, the 
Rev. Louis Flohe officiating.  Burial was in Portland cemetery.

Surviving the deceased, who was a June graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, 
are the parents; a brother, Leon of Portland; two sisters, Rose and Delores, 
at home; the grandparents, Mr and Mrs Nelson Densmore of Portland and Mr and 
Mrs James Kissane, also of Portland.

Bearers were Roy Kissane, Phillip Leik, David Huhn, Steven Snitgen, Laurence 
Gensterblum and David Koepele.

The Rosary was recited Tuesday night at Neller Funeral Home.
