Aug. 24, 1933 LEE S. DENSMORE Lee Stebbins Densmore, son of Jay R. and Ella S. Densmore, was born near Muir, March 3, 1893, and moved with his parents, to Easton township, when about ten years of age. He had lived on the farm where he was born until the time of his death, August 16, 1933, following an operation for appendicitis. Mr. Densmore wa a graduate of the Saranac High school and also attended the Agricultural School at Lansing, and taught two years in rural schools. He was united in marriage with Alta Mae Borden, December 25, 1925, and to this union four children were born, Royce, Bruce, Wayne and Avis. Mr. Densmore was a director of the Dexter school board, a past master of the Keene Grange, a member of the Royal Order of Moose and an active worker in the Easton Community church and Sunday school. He leaves to mourn their loss, his faithful wife and four small children, his parent, one brother, Max Densmore of Saranac, one sister, Mrs. Velma P. Hillis of Detroit other relative and many friends. The funeral was held Saturday, August 19, in the Easton Community M.E. church, the pastor, Rev. F.P. Frye, having charge of the service. interment was in the Easton cemetery.
