Dean A. DePue, 52, of Sheridan, died Friday, March 4, 2005, upon arrival at
Sheridan Community Hospital  He was born Nov 6, 1952, in Ionia, the son of
Maurice and Helen Holbrook DePue.

Dean married Rosemary M. Richards on Feb. 26, 1993, in Belding.  He has been a
resident of the Sheridan area since 1992, formerly of Hubbardston.  He was
self-employed as a farrier and equine dentist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Helen DePue; two brothers,
Ed and David DePue; a sister, Jennie Schrauben; a niece, Vickie Zank; and two
brothers-in-law, Dexter Decker and Paul Schafer.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary M. DePue; his mother-in-law, Grace Richards
of Sheridan; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Nova Bennett of Sheridan;
one daughter and son-in-law, Kristin Bennett and Eric Sternhagen of Sheridan;
one brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Judith DePue of Greenville; six
sisters, Jean Schafer, Dorothy Fisher, Shirley and Dick Rinkey, all of
Hubbardston, Carole and Ron Stevens of Stanton, Kathie and Stan Cooper of St.
Johns, Dee and Ron Corwin of Sheridan; four brothers-in-law, Dan and JoAnn
Richards of Brethren, Randy Richards of Greenville, Sam and Marcia Richards of
Mount Pleasant, Steve Schrauben of Hubbardston; as well as aunts, nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan,
with the Rev. Fr. Eugene Okoli officiating.  Internment is in the Evergreen
Cemetery, Sheridan.  Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
home.
