The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 1904


Mrs. Caroline E. Depue of Ionia township, died on June 24th, at age of 71 
years, 9 months and 9 days.  She was one of the pioneers of Michigan.  She was 
buried in the Portland cemetery.  She leaves an aged husband to mourn her 
death.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. H. Shelly.
