Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, March 5, 1964

Mrs. Rena M. Derrick, 85, of 643 Lafayette street died Wednesday afternoon at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital where she was a patient several days. 

She was born January 6, 1879 at LaGrange, Ind., the daughter of George and 
Catherine Taylor, and spent most of her life in Ionia, with exception of a few 
years in Detroit.

Mrs. Derrick was a member of First Christian church.

She is survived by a brother, Albert (Bert) Taylor of Ionia, and several nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Stone - Kauffman 
funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating. Burial will be at 
Easton cemetery.
