DERRICK, FRANKIE (HEYDLAUFF)(PETTIT)(MRS. EVERETT)

   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, 9-5-1952, page 4:  "DEATHS:  Mrs. Frankie Derrick,
73, of North Plains, died at her home Thursday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m. after
being critically ill for several weeks.
   She was born in Ronald Township 3-9-1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Heydlauff.  Surviving are husband Everett, a sister Mrs. Mason Brown, of
North Plains, and a brother Fred Heydlauff of Durand."  

   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, 9-10-1952:  "Services were conducted by Reverend
Court O. Adams of North Plains Church Monday afternoon for Mrs. Frankie Derrick,
of Muir.  Mrs. Susan White had charge of the services.  Burial was at North
Plains Cemetery.  Bearers were Carl Snyder, Louis Fitzgerald, Howard Eckley,
Weston Townsend, Foster Lake, Walter Halstead.
   Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Derrick and Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Carter of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooks, of Beaverton, Mr. and Mrs.
Alfred Simon, Mr. and Mrs. William Simon, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Simon, Mr. and
Mrs. N. Hufnagel, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schueller, of Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Heydlauff, Mrs. Grace McCall of Durand, Mrs. Dortha Colter of Flint, Emma
Chockley, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Chockley of New Baltimore, Mr. and Mrs. J. Brown of
Muskegon, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Guess of Keego Harbor, Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Holcomb of Mancelona, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Chockley of Detroit, Dr. B. E. Stevens
and Mrs. A. W. Erno of Highland Park, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rutledge of St.
Johns."
