Jean L. Dever, 73, of Belding, passed away Thursday, May 7, 1998 at Blodgett 
Memorial Medical Center.  She was born August 20, 1924 in Grand Rapids to 
Durand and Lillian Johnson Kibler.  She was a member of the First 
Congregational Church, Belding.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Judy Dever of 
Belding, Thomas and Shirley Dever of Belding, Ronald Dever of Spring Lake; 
their father, Forrest Dever of Belding; six grandchildren; several great-
grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald and Barb Kibler of 
Holly, Dick and Betty Kibler of Walker, Bob Kibler of Cedar Springs; special 
friends, Lori and Jim Leonard and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, June Caverley; special 
friend, Ward Blunt.

Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, 
with Pastor Darwyn Hassert officiating.  Interment will be in Rest Haven Memory 
Gardens.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
