Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Feb 1985

Funeral services for John C. Devers, 63, were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Temple
Baptist Church with the Revs. James Housman and Larry Frye officiating. 
Organist was Audrie Randall.  Singers were Audry Tuller and Jamie Hull.  Bearers
were Dan Tuller, Versil Swift, Mike Swift, Verdon Hesterly, Dave Boier, and Phil
and Louis Bookie.  Committal services were held at the church with later burial
in Highland Park Cemetery.

Following the services, a luncheon was served to family and friends by the women
of the church.  Arrangements were made by Roetman Funeral Home.
