                              Ray Basil Devers

Ray Basil Devers, 55 of Blanchard, passed away oct.28, 2010. he was born Feb. 
19, 1955 in Carson City, the son of Wilford and Addie Marie (Thayer) Devers.

He married his first love Carol Richards Sept.15, 2006. Ray in the military from 
1975 to 1995 as a Staff Sergeant First Class for the Army. He loved cat fishing 
and music.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol Devers of Blanchard; mother Addie Marie 
Devers of Ionia, his children Robin (Jeremy) Tyler of Carson City, Tonya Proctor 
of Mt.Pleasant, Tiffany Harter of St.Louis, and Toni (Staff Sgt. Chris) 
Hutchingson of Six Lakes; grandchildren Jordan, Dalton, Grace, Trevor, Troy, 
Trysten, Jaynes, Talishiea, Danny, Christopher, Ashley and Aerjay; brother Steve 
(Donna) Devers of Portland; sisters Pamela (Bill) Keuchenmeiser of Ovid, Connie 
(Lenny Pline) Devers of Ionia, Carol (Jessie) West of North Carolina, and Gloria 
Devers and Karen McGuire of Florida.

Ray is preceded in death by his father Wilford Devers, son Damien Devers and 
sister Vanessa Devers.

Special thank you to Heartland Hospice and especially Nurse Lisa Harman.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m Tuesday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Interment Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 pm. Monday at the 
funeral home.
