Mr. and Mrs. Henry Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Tubbs and George H. Allen 
attended the funeral of George DeVore, at Lyons Friday afternoon.  Mr. DeVore, 
whose health had been in a precarious state for several weeks, died at the 
DeVore sanitarium in Grand Rapids, where he had gone for treatment.  He was a 
son of Dr. R. P. DeVore of Lyons, and his wife is a sister of Mesdames 
Townsend and Tubbs, of this village.
