Portland Review & Observer, 25 Dec 2005

Jean Elizabeth Dexter, 90, of Portland passed away Dec. 16, 2005.  She was born 
in Imlay City June 23, 1915 the daughter of John and Bessie (Hay) Seabury.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbur; sister, Virginia 
Maison and Jackie Slate.  Surviving are daughters, Sue Malec, Marilyn (John) 
Lyday and Beth (John) Correy; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, 
Grace Ennis; sister-in-law, Vergean Hayse; many nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted by Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor, Dec. 20 at First 
Congregational Church, 421 E. Bridge St., Portland.  Interment followed at 
Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing.  Arrangements were handled by Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, Portland.  Contributions may be made to First Congregational 
Church or Visiting Nursing Services of Michigan, Lansing Hospice Services, 825 
E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912.
