Dawn Ann Dhaene, 75, of Belding, formerly of Greenville, passed away Monday
evening, Nov. 13, 2006, at Metron of Belding.  Dawn was born June 27, 1931, in
Manistique, the daughter of Howard and Beatrice Smith.  She was a member of TOPS
and a past member of First United Methodist Church of Greenville.  Dawn retired
from Extruded Metals and Extruded Aluminum.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty; and brother, Bill.  She
is survived by her children, Michael C. Laird of Azel, Texas, Debra A. and Emery
“Fred” Beech of Belding, Lynn and Craig Towersey of Stanton; nine grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June Anderson of Grand Blanc, Clara
Ferguson of Manistique.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken
Harger officiating.  Interment is 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens, Traverse
City.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorials may
be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
