LAKE ODESSA- Robert S. Diamante, 72, of Lake Odessa, died Sunday, April 10, 
1994, at Pennock Hospital.

 He was born December 20, 1921, in New Haven, Conn., the son of Edward and Anna 
(LaVorgna) Diamante.

 He was graduate from New Haven High School, and was married to Rita Marie 
Birmington, April 10, 1946, in New Haven. The lived in New Haven, Conn. until 
moving to Lake Odessa in 1976.

 He served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. He worked at the U.S. Post Office as 
a letter carrier for 30 years in New Haven, retiring in 1976.

 He was a life member of the D.A.V. and the VFW, National Association of Letter 
Carriers Branch 19, New Haven, Conn., and the Morrison Lake Country Club where 
he was presently employed.

 He is survived by two daughters, Patricia SaintAmour of Sunfield, and 
Roberta "Doc" Price of Cheboygan; six grandchildren: one great grandson; one 
brother, Arthur Diamante of North Haven, Conn.: one sister, Mary Diamante of 
East Haven, Conn.

 He was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Luongo in March of 1975.

 Visitation will be Tuesday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 
the Koops Funeral Chapel in lake Odessa. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday 
at 8 p.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be Thursday at 11 
a.m. at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in lake Odessa, with the Rev. Thomas 
Boufford officiating. 

 Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Edwards Church Building Fund.
