The Ionia Standard, Friday, November 11, 1892

John Dick, the well known farmer of Easton, died yesterday from the accident 
on Friday, heretofore mentioned in the Standard.  He was 53 years old, and 
leaves a wife, who is a sister of Ducan Robertson, but no children.  

The funeral will take place from residence in Easton, at 12:30 standard time, 
Wednesday.  Mr. Dick was a member of Wm. H. Borden post, G.A.R., which will 
detail an escort for the funeral, and accompany the remains in a body through 
the city to their final resting place, at Highland Park.
