Mrs. Dick had been feeble for a number of years, but was confined to her bed only a few days. The cause of death was given as old age and heart trouble. She was about 88 years of age. Mrs. Dick was born in Scotland and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Robertson. She came to Ionia county with her parents when about 18 years of age. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Robertson lived on a farm in Easton Township near Haynor. After the death of her husband, which occurred many years ago, Mrs. Dick continued to live on the farm and rented it out to men to farm. She later moved to Ionia city, where she lived until she became too feeble to care for herself. She made her home with her nephew for a number of years. Mrs. Dick was a member of the Women Relief corps and for many years was an active and faithful member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two nephews, William Robertson, at whose home she died, and Henry Robertson who lives on a farm on the Steele road, north of the city.
