Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Sep 1943

Mrs. Frances M. Dick, 86, a lifelong resident of North Plains and Muir, died
Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Ross,
of Muir.  She was born December 28, 1856, and was the wife of Simon J. Dick who
preceded her in death several years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Howard Dick and Arthur Dick; four daughters, Mrs. Coral
Estep, Mrs. Clarence Fletcher, Mrs. George Ross, and Mrs. Claude Eldridge; two
brothers, James Ludwick and Charles Ludwick; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Whitman and
Mrs. Lydia Dick.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, September 18, at the Muir
Presbyterian church of which she had been a member, Rev. Paul Stewart will
officiate at 2 o’clock and burial will be in North Plains cemetery.
