Marguerite G. Dick, 87, of Ionia, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 at the 
Laurels of Kent in Lowell.

She was aborn Dec. 17, 1923 in Berlin Township, the daughter of Paul and 
Fredericka (Scheuer) Hausserman.

She attended Coon Rural School fnd graduated from Ionia Hich School. Following 
graduation she continued her education at Western Michigan College in 
Kalamazoo, obtaining her teaching degree.

Marguerite taught school in the Lakewood School District for over 30 years 
before her retirement. 

She was married June 8, 1974 to Marvin Dick. Mr Dick preceded her in death on 
Dec. 12, 1995. 

Marguerite enjoyed quilting, music and was an accomplished organist and 
pianist. She also served on the coon Rural School Board.

Marguerite has lived in the same Centennial home her entire life.

Surviving are her children, Paula Beard, Gary Olrich and Douglas Ohlrich; 
numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at Koops 
Funeral Chapel - Lake Odessa. Funeral services for Marguerite will be conducted 
at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at Koops Funeral Chapel - Lake Odessa. 
Interment will follow at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia.

United Methodist Church, 914 Fourth Ave., Lake Odessa, MI 48849.
