Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. October 7, 1948

Arthur J.Dick 67, Died Tuesday

Arthur J.Dick 67, died at his home Tuesday night after a lingering illness.He 
had resided in the vicinity of Muir before coming to Lake Odessa about 25 years 
ago, being employed at the L.O.Canning Co. until retiring about two years ago 
because of ill health.

Surviving are the wife, Sarah, two daughters Mrs Violet Dahl of Flint and 
Mrs.Helen Gibbs of Prudenville; two sons Marvin and Starr of Lake Odessa; four 
sisters, Mrs Lottie Ross, Mrs Mabel Fletcher, Mrs.Elizabeth Eldridge and Mrs 
Beatrice Estep and one brother Howard all of Muir; seven grand children and one 
great grandchild. Mr Dick reposes at the Pickens chapel where services will be 
held Friday at 1 o'clock with burial in East Plains cemetery, Matherton.
