Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jan 1978

Webster L. Dick, 77, of route 1, died at his home Sunday evening.  He was born
October 26, 1900, the son of George and Maude Goodwin Dick and was a lifelong
resident of North Plains township.  A longtime farmer, he was employed for a
short time at the Lyons Chrysler Trim plant.

Survivors include his wife Mamie; two stepsons Burl Spitle of route 1, Muir and
John Gibson of Ionia; one step-daughter, Martha Crankshaw of Ionia; one brother,
Ethard Dick of Lyons and two sisters, Vesta Guernsey of Laingsburg and Emma
Patton of Zehphyrhills, Florida.

Funeral services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Estep funeral home in Muir
with Rev. Norm Mincemoyer of North Plains Community church officiating.  Burial
is in Westside cemetery in Hubbardston.
