Lived to be Nearly 90 Years Old. Succumbs to Paralysis. Brought To Lake Odessa for Burial. The body of Mrs. John Dickerson, a former resident here but for ten years a resident of Denver, Colo., was brought here last Saturday. The body was accompanied by her daughter Mrs. D. O. Cassell who will be remembered as Z?? Dickerson when she lived here many years ago. Mrs. Dickerson left Lake Odessa ten years ago when she went to live with her daughters in the west. She had previously spent some time there. The remains were met at the station by her grandson who made arrangements for her funeral Sunday afternoon. Obituary Mildred Ann Padman [Transcriber's Note: This is a very poor copy of the obituary, and the first “a” could be another vowel.] was born in Kingston, Can. December 29, 1842 and passed away November 16, 1932 at the Samaritan hospital in Denver, Colo., aged 89 years, ten months and 16 days. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Goodsell and Mrs. D. O. Cassell of Denver, Colo., two grandsons Maurice Armstrong of Kalamazoo and Matt Armstrong of Lake Odessa, and a son William Dickerson of Flint. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Mrs. Bertha Armstrong, and a son John Dickerson. Mrs. Dickerson made her home in Lake Odessa for many years but had lived for the past thirteen years with her two daughters in Denver. The funeral was held at the Wortley home Sunday afternoon. Rev. ?? Cartland preached and Mrs. W. C. McCartney and Leon T. Gilson sang two songs accompanied by Mrs. Gilson. Burial was at Lake Side cemetery beside her husband and son. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were Mrs. D. O. Cassell of Wiggins, Colo, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Armstrong of Kalamazoo, Mr. and Mrs. William Dickerson of Flint, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Anderson, Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mansfield, Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Talcott, Saranac, and Mr. and Mrs. R.
