Ionia SEntinel - Thursday, Oct. 4, 1900

John Dickerson, one of Ionia's oldest residents, died yesterday at the home of 
his son, William Dickerson, on Rice street. Mr. Dickerson was 74 years of age 
and a pioneer citizen. He lived south of the city for many years but of late 
Lake Odessa has been his home. Funeral October 4, from the house where he died 
at 10 a.m.
