Ionia Daily Standard, 24 Dec 1902

Cornelia H., beloved wife of Pearl Dickhout, passed away on Monday evening,
following an attack of weak heart, and the funeral was attended from the Baptist
Church at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. D.L. martin officiating.  Interment was
in Balcom cemetery, Berlin.  Deceased was aged 33 years, one of the daughters of
Robert S. Smith of South Ionia, a young woman of excellent motherly qualities,
and one whose early death will be mourned by a wide circle of friends.
