E. Edward Dickinson, 82, died Sunday at his home near Vickeryville.  He was 
born July 4, 1863, in Bushnell township, and lived for 25 years in Ronald 
township as a farmer, and for the past two years in Vickeryville.  He was 
married in 1883 to Francis Goodwin, who died in 1891.  In 1917 he married 
Bessie Hodge.  He was a member of the North Plains Union church.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Garland, of Lyons; two grandchildren, six 
great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Emma Greenhoe, Mrs. Delia Ross, Mrs. 
Melia Cobel, Mrs. Ritta Maus and Mrs. Arthur Greenhoe, all of Sheridan, and a 
brother, Seldon Dickinson, of Barryton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist church at 
Vickeryville with his nephew, Basil Dickinson, officiating.  Interment will be 
at the Vickeryville cemetery.
