Dickinson, 73, of Route 2, Tupper Lake Road, Lake Odessa, died Tuesday at the Barry County Medical Facility. He was born September 7, 1906 in Springport, the son of Frank and Rose Dickinson. He was a graduate of Lyons High School. Mr. Dickinson was married to Mildred Barnes in June, 1926. She died in June, 1976. Mr. Dickinson was a retired employee of Ypsilanti-Reed and AC Sparkplug of Ionia. The Dickinsons lived in Lyons until 1962, then moved to Charlevoix, returning to Lake Odessa in 1972. Survivors include four sons, Fred, of Woodland; Floyd, of Escondido, Calif.; Arthur, of Wyoming, Mich.; David, of Charlevoix; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ann Albers; one brother, John C. Dickinson, of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Garth, of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Ferris, of Portland, and Mrs. Gladys Titus, of Florida; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A sister and son preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Carmichael officiating and the Rev. Charles Albers assisting. Burial will be in the West Sebewa Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir until noon Friday.
