Dickson was stricken with paralysis four weeks ago at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James M. Webster, in Seattle, Wash. The remains were cremated and at some future time will be brought to Portland for burial. Mr. Dickson was born in Ohio in 1848 and when he was a small boy his parents moved to Portland. This place was his home until about 15 years ago, when he went to Florida. About four years ago he went to Lune Ridge, Wisc., residing with another daughter, Mrs. E.A. Prouty, formerly Frances Dickson. When Mr. and Mrs. Webster returned to Seattle from an eastern trip last fall Mr. Dickson accompanied them. His wife’s maiden name was Harriet Cook, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce G. Cook. Her father was a well known pioneer of Sebewa and later a resident of Portland, where for many years he was a justice-of-the-peace. Mrs. Dickson died six years ago. Surviving are the two daughters above mentioned and a son, Albert H. Dickson, who lives in Superior, Ariz. Mrs. Marietta Roe, of Portland, is a niece of Mr. Dickson.
