Daily Standard - Saturday, March 7, 1908

Silas Dildine, for several years a merchant in this city, died March 2, in 
Portland, Oregon. His age was about 75, and he leaves no family, his wife 
preceding him to the other side, and his son and only child being accidently 
killed in Hawaii several years ago. The news comes to Mrs. Van Slyke, a niece, 
from Mrs. Orissa DeLong of Lakeview, a sister of Mr. Dildine.
