Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 9 Jun 1947

Mrs. Della Dildine, 83, died at the Ionia Convalescent home Sunday morning at 5 
o’clock.  She had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Claude Dumont, 222 Union 
street.

She was born in Easton township September 12, 1863.  She married William 
Dildine December 2, 1880.  They had two children, Lillian and Iva.  Lillian 
died February, 1923.

Other survivors are one grandson, Richard Dumont; one great-grandson, Robert 
Dumont; five nephews, Dr. Harry Dildine of Maryville, Mo., Ray Dildine of 
Lansing, Roy Lord and Dr. Victor Kaufman of Ionia and Crawford Kaufman of Lake 
Odessa; and one niece, Mrs. Elsie Carr of Bay City.

Christian Science services will be conducted by Mrs. Delia Hoopman at 2:30 p.m. 
Tuesday at the Myers funeral home.  Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
