The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 22, 1895
Daniel F. Dildine, of Easton, died on Saturday of paralysis at the age of 54.  
He has been helpless and blind for several years, and his death has long been 
expected.  It comes at last as a welcome messenger to relieve him of a life 
that had much of pain and little possibility of pleasure.  He leaves wife and 
one daughter, married to Milo Van Slyke.  

The funeral was the first in the new Dildine church and was held at 1:30 
Monday, services by Rev. Mr. Ogden.
