Ionia Daily Standard, 14 Mar 1902

Death came graciously to the relief of Abner C. Dillenbeck at 6 o’clock this 
morning, and took him away from his long illness and excruciating pain, the 
which he bore, however, with a manly fortitude.  He was long years a resident 
of Ionia, and was widely and well known in the days of his activity.  He 
belonged to the Modern Woodmen.  The date of the funeral is not positively 
fixed, but the desire of the family is to have it on Monday morning next, at 9 
o’clock, at the Church of SS. Peter & Paul.
