Dillenbeck, 54, a life long resident of Ionia, died Thursday morning, June 16, at his home at 142 Mill street after an illness of several years. He became critically ill two months ago. He was born April 15, 1884 in Ionia and attend SS. Peter and Paul academy and the Ionia high school. In 1903 he was married to Miss Florence Randall in Ionia by Fr. [unreadable in the copy I have]. He was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul church and had been employed at the Ypsilanti Reed furniture company as a weaver up until 1931. Survivors are four daughters, Miss Mabel Dillenbeck and Mrs. Weston H. Guild of Ionia, Mrs. Leslie Hale of Pontiac and Mrs. James Chapin of Stanton; a son, Abner J. Dillenbeck of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Wesley Dake of Easton township; two brothers, Charles Dillenbeck of Grand Rapids and Leo Dillenbeck of Ionia and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from SS. Peter and Paul church Saturday morning, June 18, at 9 o’clock with burial in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
