Lake Odessa Wave - January 21, 1971
          SERVICES HELD FOR CLARA DILLENBECK 
   Mrs. Clara Dillenbeck, 78, passed away Thursday afternoon at Capital City
Convalescent Center in Lansing.  
She has been a patient in rest homes about four years.
   She was born March 6, 1892 in Odessa township, daughter of Charles and Margaret
(Smith) Steele and was 
a lifelong resident of the area.
   June 21, 1911 she married Orvie Dillenbeck and he passed away March 4, 1954.
   Mrs. Dillenbeck was a member of the Ionia Seventh Day Adventist church.
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Serena) Goodenough of Vermontville,
Mrs. Rosalie Johnson of 
Hastings and Mrs. Harry (Edna) Brooks of Lake Odessa; 12 granchildren; 20 great
grandchildren, and a 
brother Levi Steele of Lake Odessa.
   Funeral services were held on Sunday at two o'clock at Pickens Funeral Chapel.
Elder Gordon E. Stecker 
officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
