She had been ill and in the hospital for five weeks following an operation. Surviving are George Diller, husband; two sons, Charles, Jr., and John; two daughters, Mrs. Bob Johnson of Florida and Margaret of Durand. Preceding her in death was one son, George Andrew Diller, soldier in World War II, who was killed in action in the South Pacific. An infant died at birth. Also to mourn her death are two sisters, Mrs. Pius Miller of Ionia and Mrs. Anna Schafer of Lansing; two brothers, William J. Fox of Lansing and John J. Fox of Pewamo. There are also two grandchildren. Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Durand, Father Hayes officiating. Burial was at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pewamo. Father Joseph (Illegible) assisted. Mrs. Diller was born July 17, 1890, and died at the age of 59 on March 26, 1950. Mr. and Mrs. Diller were married in July, 1919, and lived most of their married life in Pewamo. Mrs. Diller was a member of the Altar Society of Durand and the Blue Star Mothers Club. The bereaved family has the deepest sympathy of the village of Pewamo.
